How to dress intentionally and picking the right stylist to work with you through this

A stylist will help you dress with intentionality if they are not driven by trends but rather they focus on the human aspect, what you are about, what you are like and where you'd like to go.

Whilst trends can be incorporated in this, it should not be all about trends but seeing how we can incorporate things that speak to you personally within a trend.

For example if you are someone who has always loved the material suede and you find it soft and comforting. When a cowboy boot is a trend and in fashion you can try the suede version in a colour you know will fit your wardrobe, whether thats a new colour or something like tan for example, that you are used to.

You may see for example that silver cowboy boots are a trend, you try a pair on because its trendy and you think why doesn't this look good on, like it does on instagram.

Because perhaps you need to stay true to you and what is satisfying to you within the "trend" style, to feel like you pull it off.

If you feel like you have no go to references of what you like, a trend led stylist probably wont be the best fit but someone who will make effort to understand who you are, where you’re at and how you feel about yourself and work along with you to uncover some most likely incorrect beliefs about yourself that stop you dressing satisfyingly for you.

Incorrect belief examples:

While there may be some things we are all drawn to, that if we wear them we won’t look our best... if this is a constant cycle and your wardrobe is undesirable to you there is a issue.
